Synopsis
Rinka Hayami is a student in Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School, a sniper often compared to a composed working adult alongside her partner Ryunosuke Chiba. Her serious, businesslike nature makes her direct and straightforward in conversation.
Early on, Hayami is shown as somewhat softer, chatting and smiling easily with her classmates, but she grows increasingly stoic as the story progresses. Underneath that guarded exterior, though, is a much gentler side, glimpsed in a photo of her happily cradling a kitten.
She ended up in Class 3-E after letting others lean on her too heavily without ever pushing back, which left her too little time to focus on her own studies and eventually tanked her grades. Alongside Chiba, she trains as one of the class's dedicated marksmen, and their combined accuracy proves decisive in more than one attempt on Korosensei's life.
