Chaa

Chaa leads the Guild, a workshop that crafts weapons for the SSS out of ordinary dirt, shaped from its members' memories of real weapons from life. He looks far older than his years, though he's actually the same age as Yuzuru Otonashi and the rest of the students.

When Yuri Nakamura first encounters him, Chaa is arguably the single greatest threat she's faced in the afterlife — it's Chaa who shows her that firearms can exist in this world at all. Yuri reminds him of the wife he once ran away from home with, only to be separated from her and die alone. As he grows closer to the group, his interest in the Guild fades, and before disappearing he crafts one final, finest weapon for Yuri.
