Synopsis
Atli (アトリ) is a supporting character in the historical drama Vinland Saga and a former warrior in Askeladd's band. He is the brother of Torgrim. In his earliest appearances he is a man with short light-blond hair, a mustache and grey eyes, dressed in a tan brown outfit with grey trousers and dark boots. After the time skip he grows his hair out and ties it back, wraps himself in a bear-pelt scarf, and takes to wearing teal-colored clothes.
Like the rest of Askeladd's men, Atli despises followers of the Christian faith, yet he is amiable toward those he fights alongside and closest of all to his brother. He was one of the few survivors after the clash with Thorkell, when Askeladd's companions turned on one another, standing among Björn, Thorfinn and Askeladd himself. Askeladd later lets the brothers leave on the condition that they settle down far from the battlefield and never return.
During the Baltic Sea War, Atli is kidnapped and interrogated by Vagn's men, who extract information about Floki paying Askeladd to kill Thors. He is voiced by Shinya Takahashi in Japanese, and by Ty Mahany and Kaiji Tang in English.
