Twigo

Twigo is an apprentice Holy Knight stationed near Kaynes Village, born into a family of knights and pressured from a young age by his older brother Kaide to prove himself worthy of the title. He commands a broadsword and, unlike many of his peers, comes from a household where knighthood is treated as an inherited duty rather than a personal choice.

Ruthless and self-centered, Twigo shows little concern for either his subordinates or the people under his protection, viewing his own strength as inherently superior to that of ordinary soldiers and even nobility. He is quick to dismiss others' abilities, a trait that leaves him unprepared when he actually faces someone stronger than himself.

That overconfidence proves fatal: after being defeated by Meliodas, Twigo drinks demon blood in a desperate bid for greater power, hoping to reverse the humiliation. His body proves incompatible with the transformation, and he dies from the attempt, one of the earliest signs of how dangerous the demon blood experiments being run through the Holy Knights truly are.
