Synopsis
Nemu Takara is a third-party moderator hired by Mephisto Pheles to secretly supervise the True Cross Academy cram school from within the student body, remaining largely unnoticed by his classmates for much of the story.
Deliberately mysterious, Nemu avoids group activities and rarely speaks directly, instead communicating through a sock puppet in a high-pitched voice when he does engage. He treats teachers and fellow students alike with casual disregard, showing little concern for typical social hierarchy.
Even after his role as a hidden moderator is revealed, Nemu keeps his quiet, eccentric habits, dismissing the cram school as beneath someone of his skill while continuing to appear on the fringes of major events, including the search for a ghost during a school festival and the forest training camp, where he consistently proves more capable than his low profile suggests.
