Palm Siberia

Palm Siberia is a Hunter and Knov's apprentice, who joined the Chimera Ant extermination mission and eventually became one of the Ants herself.

She initially has long, unruly black hair and pale, sickly-looking skin. She is extremely thin, usually in a light pink blouse with a knife in hand, and stress wraps her in a frankly terrifying aura. On her date with Gon she transforms completely: she combs her hair — which turns out to be brown — dresses in brighter clothes, and even her complexion warms.

Her manner is erratic enough at first to unnerve her own colleagues: she talks too much and veers off-topic constantly, especially where Knov is concerned, whom she is in love with and initially denies caring for. She is, incidentally, an excellent cook.

Reborn as a Chimera Ant, Palm is briefly unable to feel any emotion attached to her memories — until Killua involuntarily cancels the effects of the surgery. The violent, near-psychotic demeanour then falls away, revealing a genuinely gentle person underneath.

As a human she was a non-combatant and posed little real threat, but she could use aura to enhance her natural abilities and to leave messages that lingered for days.
