Synopsis
Rika Orimoto was the childhood friend of Yuta Okkotsu in the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 prequel, tragically killed by a car as a child. Her grief-stricken spirit turned into a powerful special grade vengeful cursed spirit, earning her the title "Queen of Curses," and she haunted Yuta for years until he learned to unravel her curse at Tokyo Jujutsu High, finally freeing her to pass on.
An innocent young girl in life, Rika shared a special bond with Yuta and believed she loved him — feelings that lingered on even after death. As a vengeful spirit her only real desire was to protect him, though her overwhelming power often caused harm to others in the process; she nevertheless listened to and restrained herself for his sake. Freed at last, Rika chose to forgive Yuta and move on despite his promise to pass on together with her, telling him she'd been happier as a curse by his side than she ever was alive.
