Synopsis
Hinata Okano is a student in Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. In her early appearances she comes across as serious and fairly composed, though as the story goes on she reveals a playful side alongside that seriousness.
Okano is described as someone who acts before she thinks, and classmate Meg Kataoka notes that she's honest but turns extremely stubborn once she's angry. With two brothers, one older and one younger, sports and physical fitness are constant topics at home, which likely explains her enthusiasm for athletics and gymnastics.
She dropped into Class 3-E after neglecting her studies in favor of club activities, which caused her grades to fall sharply. Within the class, she shares a close relationship with Hiroto Maehara, who becomes her boyfriend.
