Synopsis
Hiroto Maehara is a student in Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School, an unabashed playboy who lives by a live-in-the-moment philosophy. When a girl he was dating dumped him, he took it in stride, true to form.
Despite his easygoing image, Maehara is a caring friend who never picks on anyone weaker than himself, and someone who reacts strongly and honestly to whatever happens around him. Within the class, he shares a close relationship with classmate Hinata Okano.
Little of his backstory is explored in detail, but Maehara is a regular participant in the boys' running gags and schemes, always happy to join in purely for the fun of it, and that warmth leaves a lasting impression even with a relatively modest role in the main plot.
