Synopsis
Kento Nanami is a grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer and former student of Tokyo Jujutsu High, where he was an underclassman of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. After graduating he briefly left the jujutsu world to work as an ordinary salaryman, only to return four years later and resume his career as a sorcerer, eventually becoming a close mentor to Yuji Itadori.
Nicknamed "Nanamin" by his students, he comes across as calm, stoic and almost aloof, with little patience for impractical optimism or ambiguity. He is blunt, quick to show irritation, and famously refuses to work a single minute past what's required of him. Underneath that tough exterior, though, Nanami is sociable and thoughtful — he simply prefers keeping sentiment separate from the job, which he says beats being an ordinary salaryman only slightly.
