Synopsis
Yuji Itadori (Japanese: 虎杖 悠仁, Itadori Yūji) is the main protagonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime and manga series. Once an ordinary high school student with extraordinary physical abilities, Yuji's life changed forever after he swallowed one of Ryomen Sukuna's cursed fingers, becoming the vessel of the King of Curses. Following this incident, he enrolled at the Tokyo Jujutsu High under the guidance of Satoru Gojo to learn the art of exorcising curses.
Despite carrying the burden of Sukuna within him and constantly facing life-threatening battles, Yuji remains compassionate, selfless, and determined to protect others. He believes that everyone deserves a proper death and is willing to risk his own life to save innocent people. Combining exceptional physical strength, speed, endurance, and steadily improving cursed energy control, Yuji grows into one of the strongest jujutsu sorcerers of his generation and becomes a central figure in the fight against the world's most dangerous curses.
