Synopsis
Kokichi Muta is a semi-grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer and second-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High who attends school entirely through his puppet body, Ultimate Mechamaru — his own body is too sickly and fragile, a consequence of the Heavenly Restriction that granted him his power in the first place.
Reclusive and reserved, Kokichi deeply resents being born without any real future outside the jujutsu world, and admits he'd give back every ounce of his cursed energy in exchange for an ordinary, healthy body. That resentment sometimes bleeds into projection — when Panda once suggested the two cursed corpses had something in common, Kokichi dismissed him as nothing more than a doll, bitter that Panda got to live freely while he remained confined indoors. He grew genuinely close to Kasumi Miwa, who confessed romantic feelings for him, and was ultimately willing to strike a dangerous bargain with the enemy for a chance at a healthy body — on the condition his classmates would be spared.
