Synopsis
Magni (Japanese: マグニ) is a young man from Thorfinn's village, one of the many local youths eager to prove himself a capable and worthy warrior. Ambitious like his peers, he shares their infatuation with Ylva, the daughter of Thors. He is marked by brown hair with a single spot of black on the crown of his head, and wears a standard warrior's outfit of leather armour and chainmail.
Chasing glory, Magni leaves the village to march to war alongside Thors, unaware that Thors intends to send the inexperienced young men home with Leif Erikson before they ever reach England. Thanks to Thors's sacrifice, Magni survives the attack by Askeladd's band.
Magni is a supporting character in Vinland Saga. He is voiced by Tsuguo Mogami in Japanese, with Gareth West and Kyle Hebert providing English dub performances.
