Little Demon

The Little Demon is a creature that appears in Soul's mind after Ragnarok's Black Blood enters his body. It isn't a separate entity so much as a literal manifestation of the madness that blood carries with it.

Obsessed with a single idea — power — its real goal is to pull Soul deeper into madness until he loses control of his own body entirely. Because it's technically a part of Soul, it can't outright lie to him, but it's skilled at bending the truth and exploiting his weaknesses to nudge him toward his worst decisions.

Every appearance of the Little Demon marks a critical point in Soul's internal struggle with himself — and how close he's come to losing that fight.
