Synopsis
Leol, previously known as Hagya, was a Chimera Ant Squadron Leader resembling an enormous lion with burnt-orange skin marked by tiger stripes and a white mane. He was one of the few Ants to wear clothes: sandals and a necklace strung with a human skull, with paw prints where his eyebrows should have been.
Leol was mostly laid-back and collected, but the cruelty in him was genuine — he enjoyed killing humans and admitted the habit was addictive. He was also socially adept, building careful tactics to bring others around to his side.
Little is known of his past beyond the fact that he remembered his life as a lion; whether any memories of his human component remained is unclear. Before the Queen's death he was one of her Squadron Leaders, deliberately keeping humans aside to eat himself.
As a Chimera Ant he outmatched any ordinary human and could communicate telepathically with his own kind, and he held more authority over his subordinates than any other known Squadron Leader. It was Rammot who reported his habits to Colt. Voiced by Jiro Saito.
