Synopsis
Nobuaki Kudama is the agricultural specialist behind two of society's quiet technological pillars: Hyper-oats, a staple crop, and the Uka-no-Mitama Defense Virus. Despite these achievements, he remains bitter that his work has left him an unsung, unrecognized figure rather than the celebrated national hero he feels he deserves to be. That resentment makes him an easy target for Shogo Makishima, who cultivates Kudama's trust under the guise of curious admiration and manipulates the aging scientist into revealing secrets he should have kept to himself.
