Synopsis
Koala is a Chimera Ant in Meleoron's squadron, shaped like a small bipedal koala with pink fur, fluffy round ears, a big round nose and four black spots on his forehead. He dresses in a black tuxedo over a white shirt with a dark tie and striped, clownish trousers.
Koala is stoic and keeps a straight face almost without exception, though he is genuinely capable of deep feeling and of reading his own emotions — he simply expresses it with apparent detachment. By his own admission he used to enjoy ordering others around.
In his former life he was a hitman, which is why he carried the same cycle of existence into his life as an Ant, typically shooting his victims dead. An exceptionally strong will let him retain the memories of that former life — and with them, in all likelihood, the experience and technique that went with it.
As a Chimera Ant he is stronger than ordinary humans and probably than average soldier Ants as well. Voiced by Kenyuu Horiuchi.
