Synopsis
Meleoron — Jail in his human life — is one of the few Chimera Ants to leave the colony of his own accord. He did so not to claim a throne but because he had seen how merciless the King was.
He looks like a chameleon, with two large toes on each foot and three large fingers on each hand, short blond hair curling in the centre, a shaggy goatee, and a grey hooded sweatshirt with sweatpants.
Among his own kind he is a genuine oddity — he dislikes fighting and killing alike. He occasionally speaks theatrically and feigns disinterest, but he is good-natured underneath. In his former life he lived in NGL as the adopted son of the man who would later become Peggy.
Despite the Squadron Leader rank, Meleoron freely admits his fighting strength is barely that of a common soldier Ant and that a single blow from a fellow Squadron Leader would kill him. He was nonetheless tough enough to survive a hit from Rammot after the latter had awakened Nen. Voiced by Nobuo Tobita.
