Kibaou

Kibaou is the founder and original leader of the Aincrad Liberation Squad, one of the two most prominent clearing guilds during the early days of Sword Art Online. Following the guild's merger with MMO Today after the battle for the 25th Floor, he continues on as sub-leader of the newly formed Aincrad Liberation Force.

Power-hungry and quick to abuse his authority, Kibaou uses his position to extort taxes and items from other players through intimidation, building influence as much through fear as through genuine leadership. He is also one of the loudest voices blaming beta testers, including Kirito, for withholding information that could have saved lives, an accusation defended against by Agil, which puts the two men at odds.

Despite his abrasive methods, Kibaou's guild remains a genuine fighting force on the front lines, and his resentment of beta testers, however harsh, stems from real losses his group suffered in the game's opening battles.
