Synopsis
Kenzou Kawahori is a member of the school's soccer club and a Class 3-3 student who spends much of the story on the edges of the class's larger disputes, more focused on sports than on the countermeasures debated around him.
Active, somewhat impulsive, and generally on good terms with his classmates, Kenzou is present for several of the year's more traumatic moments, including the homeroom teacher's suicide, and later becomes convinced along with others that Mei Misaki must be responsible for the class's misfortune.
During the chaos of the class trip, Kenzou's instinct for self-preservation ultimately overrides his loyalty to the classmates around him, a choice that does not end up saving him: he is killed while trying to escape the collapsing building alone.
