Jun

Jun is a close-range, tank-built swordsman and member of the Sleeping Knights, a guild of terminally ill players who met at the virtual hospice Serene Garden and traveled through several VR worlds together before settling in ALfheim Online, where he plays as a Salamander. Despite living with cancer, he stays easygoing and cheerful, always ready with a joke, though his youth occasionally shows through nervous excitement around new or intimidating situations.

A capable fighter whose racial strengths make him a valuable presence in battle, Jun joins the rest of the guild — including Yuuki — in their attempt to defeat the 25th and 26th floor bosses of New Aincrad and have their names permanently inscribed on the Monument of Swordsmen. When that attempt fails, the group turns to recruiting an outside player strong enough to help them succeed where they could not.
