Synopsis
Kirara Hazama is a student in Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School, a quiet girl who loves reading and would rather sit in the shade with a book than swim during summer gym class. She dreams of becoming a librarian one day.
Kirara favors dark stories and horror novels, which feeds into a genuine interest in the occult — she once attempted to curse Korosensei outright. She even recommended The Count of Monte Cristo to classmate Itona Horibe, though she accidentally spoiled the ending in the process.
She also takes a strange delight in unsettling the people around her, admitting she's been scaring passersby on the street since she was a kid. Little of her backstory is explored in the series, but that mix of quiet bookishness and unpredictable dark humor makes Kirara one of the class's most distinctive and memorable students.
