Synopsis

Harada built a career as an idol and musician in the group C.H.A., adored for his looks and charm by a fanbase he initially enjoyed connecting with. Over time, though, the constant attention wore him down — the warm smile he showed to fans increasingly became a performance masking real irritation underneath.

Selfish and prone to using people, he still carried a flicker of genuine feeling that surfaced whenever those closest to him were actually hurt. That flicker becomes central to his case: after his death, fan Mayu Arita is offered the chance to bring his soul back at the cost of a stranger's, and though he isn't initially fond of her, watching her choose to sacrifice herself instead reminds him just how much his fans meant to him all along.

His death itself came at the hands of someone even closer to him — after his girlfriend's younger sister Kana took her own life over their breakup, he moved on to her sister Lisa, who left him a parting gift the morning after: a heart-shaped bomb.
