Synopsis
Grim is a young man from Thorfinn's village, one of the local youths eager to prove himself a worthy warrior. He has medium-length blond hair and grey eyes, and wears the standard outfit of a fighting man: a helmet with a mix of leather armour and chainmail.
Like his peers, Grim is ambitious and dreams of martial glory, and he is infatuated with Ylva. He is among the young men who leave the village to march to war alongside Thors, unaware that Thors intends to send the youths home with Leif Erikson before they ever reach England. Thanks to Thors's sacrifice, Grim survives the attack by Askeladd's band.
Grim is a minor character from the early chapters of Vinland Saga. He is voiced by Taito Ban in Japanese, and by Nathan Wilson (Sentai) and Patrick Seitz (VSI) in English.
