Freyja

Freyja is the disguise assumed by the NPC Thor, one of the intelligent quest characters generated by the Cardinal System's Automatic Quest Generation function for the Holy Sword of the Ice Palace quest in ALfheim Online. In this form, Thor first appears helpless and delicate — a captive locked in an ice cage, seemingly awaiting rescue — before revealing a far stronger, more determined personality once freed.

The disguise mirrors the Norse myth of Þrymskviða, in which Thor dresses as the goddess Freyja to infiltrate the frost giant Thrym's castle and reclaim his stolen hammer. When Kirito's party frees the disguised NPC from her cage, she asks to join them in order to recover a lost treasure, later using thunder magic to support the group in battle before her true form and full strength are finally revealed against Thrym himself.
