Synopsis
Syr Flova is a waitress at the Hostess of Fertility tavern and the alter ego of the goddess Freya: after exchanging names and powers with a girl named Horn, Freya gained the ability to become this persona and live among mortals. Since the Great Faction War her true nature has been known to the gods, though it remains a secret to ordinary people.
As Syr she is cheerful, a little mischievous, and remarkably perceptive — behind the facade of an ordinary girl lies a sharp mind that lets her outbluff card sharks at poker or pass herself off as nobility at a casino. She is genuinely fond of the people around her, including Bell Cranel, whom she loves to tease, and she readily helps friends in trouble, having found and nursed an exhausted Ryuu Lion back to health.
Over time, the role that began as mere play grew more genuine to Freya than the goddess herself: Syr became her "true face without makeup," and the life of an ordinary girl came to appeal to her far more than the life of a goddess.
