Synopsis
Welf Crozzo is a blacksmith and adventurer of Hestia's familia, descended from the Crozzo family once famed for forging magic swords for the nation of Rakia. Having watched that power consume his relatives, he came to despise magic swords and fled Rakia with the help of his former goddess Phobos.
Blunt and honest, Welf dislikes being associated with his family name, and he initially refused outright to forge magic swords, until Hephaistos convinced him the gift could save his friends' lives. Even so, he still makes them only for members of his own familia.
Welf takes immense pride in his craft: he insists that Bell Cranel wear only armor he forged himself, and he dreams of surpassing Hephaestus using ordinary smithing skill rather than his unique gift, determined to prove he earned that mastery on his own.
