Candy

Candy is a floating holographic assistant, designed as a smiling pink jellyfish, that serves as the household AI for Akane Tsunemori's apartment. She handles the everyday work of running a home — keeping Tsunemori's calendar, preparing calorie-appropriate meals, and switching the apartment's decor between preset themes — with unfailing cheerfulness and obedience.

Candy's design was inspired by an anime Tsunemori used to watch as a child with her mother, a small detail that ties the character to Tsunemori's quieter, more private moments away from the Bureau. When Tsunemori later relocates to a new apartment, she chooses to leave Candy behind, a quiet sign of how much her life — and her needs — have changed.
