Synopsis
Moblit Berner was a veteran member of the Survey Corps and second-in-command of its Fourth Squad, serving under Hange Zoë as their trusted assistant and messenger.
Intelligent and responsible, Moblit's main task in practice was keeping his overzealous, eccentric commander out of trouble — a job that left him in a near-constant state of near-panic, yanking Hange to safety or reminding them to be more careful. That he remained loyally at Hange's side despite the stress speaks to real devotion, and he could show a surprisingly serious edge on missions, including physically restraining others when a situation demanded it.
