Synopsis
Spirit is a demon scythe, Death's own weapon partner, and the father of Maka Albarn, whom his ex-wife personally forged into a Death Scythe. As Death's weapon he wields serious power — despite his flaky personality, he's counted among the strongest Death Scythes in the world.
Day to day, Spirit is a shameless womanizer who can't resist ogling women even on the job, and it's exactly this flaw that makes him incapable of holding down a serious relationship. It cost him his marriage and opened a deep rift with his daughter, who hasn't forgiven him for cheating on her mother.
For all his failings, Spirit genuinely loves Maka and is ready to leap to her defense at a moment's notice, whether or not she actually wants — or notices — the help.
