Synopsis
Natsuki Aki is a nurse serving in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force who holds the rank of Sergeant First Class after graduating from the Tokyo Self-Defense Senior Nurse Academy. She is assigned by Kikuoka Seijirou to oversee Kazuto Kirigaya's care at Chiyoda Hospital following his hospitalization and throughout his rehabilitation.
When the Death Gun case unfolds, Natsuki's role expands beyond routine medical duty: she is tasked with watching over Kazuto during the investigation and is present for his recovery after he is injected with succinylcholine, giving her a front-row view of one of the arc's most dangerous moments. Though she appears only briefly, her calm professionalism reflects the tight surveillance the Self-Defense Force keeps on Kazuto throughout the arc.
