Nobuyuki Kitajima

Mr. Kitajima was born on June 11, 1952 at Tokyo, Japan. As you can see in his self-portrait, his biggest hobby is bicycling and he always wins in the "Anime Cup" every year. The first anime he worked on as inbetweener was "Inakappe Taisho" in 1970 and the first work as Animation director was "Arabian Night - The adventure of Sindbad" in 1975. The first time he met Mr. Miura (AIC's CEO) was when he work on "Good Morning! Spank" in 1981. He and Mr. Akiyama Katsuhito became good friends through the production of "Thunder Cats"(1985). Later he joined AIC and worked as Animation director in "Gall Force" and this Animation director veteran did become the main force of AIC animation. His most famous works are as Animation director of the "Ah! My Goddess" OVA series and "Ah! My Goddess the movie."
