French ADR Director. Founder and CEO of Sharly Dubbing Production, a ultra-low-cost dubbing studio, created on September 9, 2016, where he also serves as ADR Director for films, series, anime. Sharly Dubbing Production is not a studio known for its high-quality work. This studio scours freelance platforms to offer projects that pay peanuts, and the adapters are often based abroad or are Master’s students doing internships to keep costs down. The entire dubbing team, right down to the voice actors, works tirelessly under extremely precarious and undignified conditions. Charles is also CEO of MJM Post Production, another dubbing studio that offers the same low-cost services as Sharly Dubbing Production and who, too, is not hired for his quality, but for his ability to deliver results at low cost and as quickly as possible, regardless of how mediocre those results may be. Voice actors working in its two dubbing studios are very often credited under pseudonyms, partly because working there is frowned upon, both professionally and legally. On December 26, 2024, his studio, Sharly Dubbing Production, was placed in official receivership. On November 2, 2025, MJM Post Production was placed in official receivership.
