Takashi Sakurai

Takashi Sakurai is a producer and editor, who is the founder and current representative director of: Typhoon Graphics Co., Ltd. (Typhoon Graphics).

He started working in the anime industry in 2003, at Tokyo Kids. Initially, he was one of the supporting editors at Tokyo Kids, and later was promoted as the general animation editor at the studio. Prior to working in the anime industry, he worked in the live-action industry; and also did some CG work at Future Pirates. After working on Magikano, he left Tokyo Kids; and joined Anime International Company (AIC) as an editor at the studio, and later became an producer for the AIC ASTA production system. In 2010, he made his debut as an animation producer with Shukufuku no Campanella, due to it streamlining the production process at AIC. In May, 2014, Sakurai, along with employees from AIC's post-production department, left AIC; and founded Typhoon Graphics Co., Ltd. (Typhoon Graphics), in which Sakurai would serve as the studio's representative director.
