Synopsis

Sakiyama Hokuto is a Japanese animator, belonging to XEBEC M2.

A talented newcomer, he debuted as inbetweener on Noein and became key animator on Demonbane and Otoboku but it was his work on Nagasarete Airantou alongside the chief animation director Hosoda Naoto, that drew attention of many veteran animators.

Sakiyama's animation style is heavily derived of that of Ohira Shinya, to whom Sakiyama looks up. In a recent interview he stated that he would like to become like Ohira.
