Synopsis
Zangetsu is Ichigo Kurosaki's zanpakutō from the anime «Bleach», which premiered in 2004. The spirit of Zangetsu appears as a middle-aged man, whom Ichigo refers to as "old man". He is wise and calm, often testing Ichigo in unusual ways. Zangetsu possesses a unique ability to temporarily close fatal wounds during combat and lacks a release command. His bankai, Tensa Zangetsu, transforms the sword into a long black blade, making it one of the most original zanpakutō.
