He was originally scheduled to play Doubles 1 with Oshitari Kenya in the semi finals against Seigaku. Right before the match started Coach Watanabe Osamu dragged Chitose back and replaced him forcing Oshitari Kenya to sit this match out. He is also seen to be disrespectful as he called Seigaku's Kawamura Takashi extra baggage. He was also seen dissing his team mate Chitose after his loss to Seigaku in Doubles 1.
