Synopsis
Yotsuya is the mysterious resident of room #4 in «Maison Ikkoku». The other tenants have given up on uncovering anything about this strange man, whose personal details, including his job and age, remain unknown. He has a hobby of peeping and eavesdropping, with a closet in his room connected to Godai's room through a large crack. Yotsuya has been seen tutoring Yagami, though he doesn't actually teach her anything, and he often creates chaos. Fans speculate that Yotsuya may be the same character as Sekoi from another Rumiko Takahashi manga.
