Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryuusai from «Bleach» is regarded as the strongest Captain in the Gotei 13, depicted as an old man with a long beard and many scars. He wears an exaggerated version of the standard Shinigami Captain uniform and has a muscular physique. Highly respected among Shinigami, he founded the Shinigami Academy around 2000 years ago and taught notable Captains like Kyouraku and Ukitake.
