Truth

Truth is a mysterious being from "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood," which aired in 2009. It appears before alchemists who have entered God's domain through alchemy. Truth has a nearly formless appearance but reflects the shape of those it speaks to, emphasizing its nature as a shadow of the alchemist. It claims to be God or the Universe and often smiles when opening the Gate, forcing alchemists to pay a toll for access to knowledge, which has resulted in the loss of body parts for several characters, including Edward Elric.
