Mai Tokiha is a transfer student at Fuuka Academy who cares for her younger brother Takumi, suffering from a heart condition, after their mother's death. She has a child named Kagutsuchi, a flaming dragon with a sword in its head, with whom she can control fire during battles. Mai is the main heroine in the anime "Mai-HiME," which premiered in 2004, as well as in "Mai-HiME Specials" and "Mai-HiME: Kuro no Mai/Saigo no Bansan."
