Tecchi

Tecchi is a close-range, tank-built member of the Sleeping Knights, a guild of terminally ill patients who met through the virtual hospice network Serene Garden. Like the rest of the guild, he lived with a serious illness that placed him under terminal care, and found camaraderie with the group somewhere between 2023 and 2024, quickly bonding with them over shared adventures across several virtual worlds.

After losing three guildmates — Aiko Konno, Clovis, and Merida — and learning that two more members had little time left, the Sleeping Knights resolved to find the most joyful, most beautiful virtual world and leave a lasting mark there before disbanding for good. They settled on ALfheim Online, where Tecchi chose to play as a Gnome, and attempted to solo the 25th and 26th floor bosses of New Aincrad to have the guild's names carved into the Monument of Swordsmen — an attempt that ultimately fell short, pushing the group to seek outside help for their final challenge.
