Synopsis
Megumi Tatara is a quiet, somewhat refined student in Class 3-3 who plays flute in the school band alongside Makoto Ouji and Noboru Saruta. She keeps largely to a small circle of friends and is more often seen studying quietly than involved in the class's larger disputes.
Like most of her classmates, Megumi is present for the homeroom teacher's suicide and reacts with visible terror, fleeing the room along with everyone else.
She does not appear again after the deaths that follow in the summer, and does not take part in the class trip, suggesting her parents likely pulled her from school and left Yomiyama, though her exact fate is never confirmed one way or another.
