Synopsis

Takeshi, known as "Brock" in the English Pokémon series, is the former gym leader of Pewter City who gives up his position to travel with Satoshi (Ash) and Kasumi (Misty) on their journey to catch Pokémon. He aspires to become a top-class breeder and has a weakness for pretty girls, often leading to humorous situations where he gets dragged away by Kasumi or Max. By the end of Diamond and Pearl, he decides to part ways with Dawn and Ash to pursue his dream of becoming a Pokémon Doctor.
