Hisanobu Takahashi

Hisanobu Takahashi is the main character in the manga "Real." At the beginning, he is a typical high school alpha male, captain of the basketball team, popular with girls, and a bully. After a tragic accident leaves him paralyzed, Takahashi feels his days of popularity are over and believes he has fallen from an "A" class person to lower than an "E" class. A visit from a former teammate inspires him to rehabilitate, but he ultimately gives up and refuses help.
