Hatsuharu Souma is a supporting character from the anime "Fruits Basket". As the Ox of the Zodiac, he embodies a dual personality: typically calm and kind, he can become aggressive when provoked. Haru is protective of his friends, especially Yuki, Kisa, and Rin, and has a terrible sense of direction, having once gotten lost for three days while trying to find Kyo to challenge him. He is voiced by Akio Suyama in the Japanese version.
