Tae Shimura, commonly known as Otae, is Shinpachi's older sister and runs the Kakidokan Dojo, which belonged to their father. Despite her sweet appearance, she is notorious for her violent tendencies, often mercilessly punishing Kondo Isao and Gintoki for their misdeeds. Otae's cooking skills are infamously terrible, causing severe reactions in those who try her food. She is one of the fan-favorite characters from "Gintama," voiced by Satsuki Yukino.
