Synopsis
Will Serfort is the main protagonist of the fantasy anime and manga Wistoria: Wand and Sword. He is a student at Rigarden Magical Academy and the childhood friend of Elfaria Albis Serfort. Both were raised in the same orphanage, where they first met and formed an unbreakable bond that would shape their future.
In a world where magical talent determines a person's status and destiny, Will was born with absolutely no aptitude for magic. Because of his lack of magical ability, he is constantly ridiculed and looked down upon by his classmates. However, instead of giving up, Will dedicates himself to relentless physical training and swordsmanship. Through unwavering determination, hard work, and perseverance, he becomes an exceptionally skilled swordsman, proving that true strength is not defined by magic alone.
Will is known for his honesty, kindness, and quick thinking. He often finds creative solutions to difficult situations, but he struggles to understand the emotions and intentions of those around him. As a result, he frequently fails to notice how others truly feel. His heart and determination are focused on a single goal—to reunite with Elfaria and fulfill the promise they made as children.
Before they were separated, Elfaria gave Will a pair of glasses and asked him to meet her one day in the throne room at the top of the Tower of Mages. Since then, he has carried those glasses with him at all times as a reminder of their promise and the person he is determined to see again.
Will's loyal companion is his familiar, Kiki, who accompanies him on his journey and supports him as he strives to become strong enough to reach the top of the tower.
