Takeshi Sendo is a featherweight boxer from the Naniwa Kentou Boxing Gym and a former JBC Featherweight Champion. He serves as the main antagonist in "Hajime no Ippo: Champion Road" and is known for his powerful punches, particularly the "Smash". Sendo is also Ippo's chief rival, having faced him multiple times in the ring. Inspired by the loss of his father, who died saving a child, he strives to become stronger. He is voiced by Masaya Onosaka and Doug Erholtz.
