Synopsis
Shiori Sekine is the bassist and backup vocalist of Girls Dead Monster, an incorrigible prankster whose schemes for a laugh tend to cause trouble for everyone around her. She's fiercely protective of her best friend Miyuki Irie, even to the point of scheming to set her up with other characters purely for her own amusement.
In life Shiori learned bass from her mother, a professional double-bassist with an unstable income. When her mother unexpectedly remarried after being widowed, Shiori and her brother were slow to trust their new stepfather, though he never intended to abandon them. Her mother died of a sudden illness soon after the wedding, and Shiori herself died in a traffic accident the day before a school concert she'd been preparing in her memory.
